Brand new in Planetarium in Jena Zeiss: competition for the return to the Moon

Jena. Google has a price advertised for the first team that privately financed a robot to the moon brings: It is a sum of 30 million US dollars to the groups fighting in the world.
The new knowledge program in the Zeiss Planetarium "The return to the Moon" is concerned with the teams and their concepts with which they want to bring a vehicle to the moon. "This is a cutting-edge production, we shopped by NSC Creative from the UK," says Jürgen Hellwig, Managing Director of the planetarium. The show convince by strong images.
The visitors not only experience, as the teams compete for the Google Lunar X Prize, but also get an overview of the lunar missions in the past. More than 45 years is the Apollo 11 mission returned now, have walked on the moon with astronauts for the first time.
The new show came by post on a hard drive to Jena - and initially ended up not in the planetarium. The deliverer they had managed to Zeiss factory. "That's always time ago. Also with us is post for Zeiss, "says Hellwig.
Combined with the current starry sky

The new show is to be seen in a special version in Jena. For international productions are usually only for 25 minutes. "We have bonus material incorporated," says Robert Sawallisch. Preliminary the planetarium shows the current night sky over Jena, to get to the regular program length of 45 minutes. The ninth planet does not matter. "No one has yet discovered him, but it is only on the basis of calculations, a probability that it exists," says Sawallisch.
The Jena Planetarium hopes to attract with the new educational program thanks to the current references by many guests. Last year was the Star Theater, part of the Ernst Abbe Foundation, 123 000 visitors welcomed. According to Hellwig is the highest attendance level in more than four years. A mosaic of good attendances was the self-produced show "Spacerock Symphony", the very successful run since July last year. It proves to be next to Queen Heaven as "export". The planetarium in Wolfsburg presents the show since the New Year. And the Planetarium Kiel plans to take them from April to the program.

During the night, both rising ever higher in the sky. At about 3 clock they are exactly in the south.
But then the moon is no longer right of Jupiter, but just below him. When the dawn at 7 clock both eclipses, the moon is almost exactly the left of the planet.
So the moon is in a semi-circle around Jupiter dance around: first, he is the right of the planet, then below, later to his left.
That the moon makes a bow to Jupiter, is an optical illusion. In fact, it runs perfectly straight on the planet over - the closest approach is reached at midnight.

But we follow the course of the moon and the whole firmament of the rotating Earth. This changed during the night, our perspective on what is happening in the cosmos.
Walking objects in the East, they seem to be more inclined to the left. Sink hours later in the West, they are tilted to the right. This means that the moon changes on Jupiter obtained from right to left without taking just before the planet along.
Throughout that night thus be two things perfectly observed: On the one hand, that the moon advances approximately to its diameter per hour.
On the other hand, that the point of view into the universe constantly changes - and we are even slightly tilted to the left, something right.
